Adele was in such a panic to learn that Spanx has discontinued her favourite item that she called the company to order as much of the remaining stock as possible.
The singer, 36, even had close friends head out to stores to hunt down the large sized full body item.
The Oscar winner, who famously lost 100lbs, opened up about her needs, admitting that the garment has been her ‘friend’ since the age of 16.
She said on stage over the weekend: ‘Spanx. I trust them. I’ve been wearing them since I was about 16, so I trust them. It’s like half of my life. So I trust them with my life.
‘And my favourite pair of Spanx are full body Spanx. I know they’re not sexy. But I like to feel safe in all dresses. I know that my lumps and bumps that I love are contained.
Adele has revealed her despair as Spanx have stop making her favourite full body shapewear – despite losing 100lbs – as she admitted to ‘panic buying whatever is left at the stores’

Adele says Spanx make her feel safe on stage and hide her ‘lumps and bumps’
‘Well, they decided to just discontinue my favourite pair of Spanx. So everyone I know has been panic buying whatever is left at the stores.
‘So Spanx were very kind, they gave us all the ones that they had left, but obviously there’s lots of stores that stopped them.
‘But probably they are not that many other people want to wear full body Spanx, especially in f***ing Vegas – it’s boiling.’
She revealed she has been enlisting her friends to help her out.
She said: ‘So we’ve been panic buying and the ones that got put in my dressing room today, definitely were not a large and they were definitely a small.’
However she has found her keep fit regime has aided her to fit into smaller sizes.
The performer also revealed that she has a new routine before shows to warm up her body.
It includes singing in the shower for 45 minutes and then running around the backstage area of Caesars Palace casino while listening to Beyonce.

Adele said: ‘So I started something new that is part of my regime. I do 10 laps around basically my backstage area. I open all the doors, and I do as many laps as I can to Break My Soul by Beyonce, because that song really gets me going.
‘And I must complete at least 10 within the time of the song, which was actually quite big back there. So it is quite a thing.
‘But then the last two laps I started running, which is absurd because I hate running. But I’m trying to see if maybe every weekend I can up a lap and then maybe one day you’ll see me out in a park running.
‘Imagine that I would give you a hundred dollars on the spot if you ever saw me running out in public. It’s never going to happen.
‘But anyway, so straight after I was running, I had to go and put these Spanx on that were a size small. It was like pumping sausage meat. It was so stressful.
‘And then I was contemplating, maybe I don’t go on in a pair of Spanx tonight, but I was like, login hebat99 (104.248.153.163) oh no, that’s too risky.
‘But I managed to get into them and it’s made me look great. But I’m nervous that is my blood is going to get cut off or something.
Last year, Adele confessed that spanx gave her an unpleasant fungal skin infection.
She revealed that she sweated so heavily in her spanx that she suffered acne around her midriff, but feels there is ‘nothing wrong’.
The Londoner admitted that she suffered from ‘jock itch’ (tinea cruris), which is medically defined as a fungal skin infection of the groin area, affecting the upper part of the thighs, buttocks and lower parts of the abdomen.
Speaking on stage Adele said: ‘Do you know what my doctor gave me? It is a bit crude but I never knew it existed. Me and my team were talking about it earlier.
‘Obviously when I do my shows I wear Spanx and keep it all in and make it all fit me. And I sweat a lot and it doesn’t go anywhere. So basically I just sit in my own sweat.
‘And my doctor gave me Jock Itch. Making a joke about Denver Nuggets’s NBA Championship winning star player Nikola Joki. which is pronounced the same way, she added: ‘That sounds like I am a big Nuggets fan there doesn’t it?
‘Jock itch that is what it is called right?’
The condition often affects athletes who sweat a lot.
Adele added: ‘So it looks like I am an athlete basically, so I have to squirt it on myself. “I don’t know why the f*** I just told you that.’
