Previously, Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party, Habiburokhman, assessed that the Anies-Muhaimin candidate pair nominated by PKS is also not yet certain to run in the Jakarta Pilkada. “Actually, the PKS declaration yesterday has not met the quota for candidacy, so we do not yet count Anies and Sohibul as definitive candidates,” stated Habiburokhman at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, on Wednesday.

Intelligence and Security Director for East Java Police, Kombes Dekananto Eko Puwono, stated that his party received a request from the KPUD East Java based on the plenary results according to the ruling of the MK to store the election papers from Jember and Pamekasan at the Mapolda Jatim.

Among them is a letter requesting approval and determination of Mr. Anies Rasyid Baswedan and Mr. Mohammad Sohibul Iman as the governor and deputy governor candidates of Jakarta,” stated Syaikhu.
