Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are the best way to quickly clean up messes. The best robot vacuums and mops that I have tested are top-quality in navigation and mapping, picking up Cheerios as well as tangled wires, and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.
They’re also simple to use using an app that lets you schedule cleaning tasks and track what they’re working on.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot cleaner with mop mop and vacuum combo. It comes with the most recent features. This top-of-the-line auto vacuum and mop is fast and agile and was able to pick up human hair and pet hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also features a sleek interface that includes a mini map of your house and a few buttons on the screen to allow manual control.
The S8’s Dirt Detection Technology enables it to change the cleaning mode based on dirt levels. It will pause and wash its mopping pad more often when it comes across dust, while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.
The mop roller comes with several other clever features, such as a dock that connects to your home’s plumbing system to clean and wash it without having to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant in the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to set the cleaning mode of your room and provide the ability to control granular settings using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for a hands free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities. It’s among the many combination robot vacuums robots that vacuum and mop have mopping capabilities that are offered at a lower price than the competition.
Like most robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little amount of work to get started, including setting up an account on the app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that’s done the robot can begin mopping and vacuuming with ease.
It’s important to note that the mapping process can take a while, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has a good picture of your room. The object detection is also hit-and-miss. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles but got stuck on a looser rug with tassels that it needed to turn to free itself. However, these aren’t major issues and the Yeedi Cube is still a ideal choice for those who need an all-in-one cleaning companion.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its mopping technology is advanced and features an inclination that is like hand scrubbing which results in floors that are genuinely cleaned and not just being swept. The detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that allows you to reach areas that robotic vacuums aren’t able to reach.
This model is essentially the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa and some additional smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home’s layout better and provide dynamic obstacle avoidance. The smart app allows you to alter a variety of settings including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging base at the end of each task to clean their pads and empty the dust bins and place debris in a self sealing bag. This helps to keep the system tidy and stops allergens from returning to the system. The battery life is long enough to clean large areas without requiring an additional charge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the premium robot vacuum and mop models that are available, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power as well as a rotating brush for hard and carpet floors and an excellent obstacles-avoiding. It also boasts a unique mopping method, which utilizes a continuous roller filled with water to pick up dirt and deposit it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation technology performed well and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing, and staying clear of stairs. However, it struggled with finely engrained debris and didn’t always get rid of raised thresholds for rooms. Its operating noise level is also quite high, so this model might not be as simple to set and forget as others.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, comes with docking technology that allows it to replenish its clean water tank, empty the dust bin and wash and dry the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors in a routine schedule. Eufy’s application lets you manage all of its functions. It gives you a clear overview with plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium robot mowers available, and it provides impressive mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with decent precision. The application allows users to adjust the coverage of the map, establish no-go zones, and even alter the cleaning preferences. The Freo’s roller brush is designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This is an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM and apply upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system is equipped with smart carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they are close to soft surfaces to avoid contamination.
The docking station acts as a hands-free maintenance centre that automatically washes and dry the mops and refills them with detergent and distilled water. The base station comes with an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust, which allows seven weeks of maintenance-free operation.
6. S10
This robot vacuum cleaner best is only a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my office clean. It can also reach all corners of my small apartment. It uses laser mapping and camera to create a 3D-map of your home so it can know what to stay clear of. It has an object/obstacle detector that can avoid things like dog bowls and toys (but not the poop), unlike many vacuums.
It has other great standout features, including the self-emptying dustbin, a mop pad that’s self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can get to areas other mops miss. You can also set cleaning schedules within the app and adjust the settings for each room in your home.
Similar to the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping, and can differentiate between laminate, carpets and hardwood rugs with high-pile. It can also avoid mopping rooms that are not dirty if you’re looking to reduce time. If you have a variety of flooring in your home and don’t want to spend extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping features it is a great option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great choice when you’re seeking a flexible robot that can do both regular maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes. It has a wide range of features including self-emptying dustbins and an additional water refill dock, and adjustable settings in the app. It’s extremely quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. It can’t pick the tangled tassels of a rug, and its battery drains quicker than other models we tried.
With a price tag of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and a handy automation into a slick design. It didn’t perform as well in our mopping and mopping tests like the pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it did very well overall. It has a variety of cleaning modes, from the low power ‘Quiet mode for light debris to the more powerful “Turbo mode” for carpeted areas. It can even remove and reconnect the mop pads, and not leave your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used in small areas. It’s extremely quiet and speedy and does a great job of maneuvering around tight spaces. It’s also excellent at removing pet hair from carpeting.
It’s smaller than many of its competition, but it doesn’t sacrifice features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be set to take photos of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them in the app as ‘not located’ so that they will not be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are encrypted and not tied to you account.
It is capable of vaccuming, but it isn’t quite as efficient at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that clip onto the bottom of the bot and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
