1. Baby Jogger City Tour 2 Double
The City Tour 2 Double stroller is the smallest in the Baby Jogger range. It’s designed for travel and easily fits through normal doors thanks to its slim design, it’s also one of the most light double buggies available on the market, weighing just 14lbs when folded. It’s perfect for traveling with a toddler and infant because you won’t be able to exceed the allowances for luggage on airlines. It can also be folded into the size of an incredibly small travel bag which means you can put it in the back seat of your car.
The one-handed, Z-shape fold is a breeze and is extremely compact once you’ve mastered it and takes minutes to fold. However our tester found the auto lock to be a little confusing. As the handlebar wasn’t locked into position when you press it, it hit her legs when she used it. She also thought that the handlebar was on the shorter side. This is especially the case when a large change bag hangs from it.
This double pram pushchair stroller isn’t as lightweight as other travel buggies. It has a full array of features and is one the most versatile double strollers on the market. It’s compatible with two carry cots (available separately) and features multiple recline positions as well as a UV 50+ canopy. You can even add an additional bassinet to one or both seats to transform it into a travel system.
The four tires made of rubber are great for pavements and urban terrain. However, they’re not made for off-roading. They had a hard time with long grass and gravel and there was not enough clearance between the wheel bracket and wheel and mud sank easily. But, our tester still loved the buggy and did manage to climb some pretty muddy hills.

The 2021 update comes with a few changes including improved manoeuvrability and an even better, larger shopping basket that has been redesigned with a bumper bar and leatherette cover. The seats are very comfortable and have a sculpted appearance. The seats are also adjustable, so they can be positioned according to the needs of siblings. iCandy has introduced the first “cinema seating” design that allows parents to maintain eye contact with their children. They can also be adjusted to face either parent or world facing.
It’s a heavier buggie in tandem, but it’s a breeze to operate and drive particularly on smooth roads. It’s stable in single and double mode and even on sloping ground. It’s not as simple to drive on public transportation, however, since it requires more than one hand on the handlebar. It’s also a bit bulky and can’t be stuffed into a standard car boot with the seat attached however this can be overcome by cautious planning. iCandy include the footmuff, changing bag and car seat adapters included in the price, so it’s an excellent value package for new parents.

The 360-degree swivel can be locked to make it easier to manoeuvre around town. The one-pedal easy lock brake is also easy to use.
Our testers noted that the Nipper Double was incredibly easy to maneuver, even when walking off on uneven ground or turning fast in a busy street. They were also awed by the fact that both seats recline independently, meaning they can be adjusted to fit the individual’s needs. This is ideal for napping.
They also liked the fact that the hoods could be moved forward and back, which made them easier to adjust in the sun or to provide wind protection. They did not offer the same amount of coverage as the Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It’s worth having an extra rain cover inside the case.
Overall, our testers loved the way that the Nipper double pram stroller (bookmarkspot.win) made it possible for them to take their twins Sydney and Lyla on a variety of adventures, from spotting wildlife in the woods to rush to the park to play with their friends. They were also awed by how cosy and spacious the two seats are, with plenty of room for toddlers growing to stretch out in. The absence of parent-facing seating and the inability of using a car seat on this buggy were both noted as a disadvantage by our test participants. They would have liked to see a larger storage space for shopping and other gear.
